libcdio-cdda-dev software package provides library to read and control digital audio CDs (development files), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcdio-cdda-dev
libcdio-cdda-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcdio-cdda-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcdio-cdda-dev *
You will get with libcdio-cdda-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
